[Za...]
Hello all, I'm a noob when it comes to a lot of the GD&T call outs due to being the one thrown into the fire when our previous CMM programmer left the company. I have a question regarding the True Position call out on this print. What is the correct way to have Calypso evaluate this feature? Datum D and Datum E are both from the same cylinder on the part. The call out: This is how I tried to evaluate it, but I can see using the same cylinder for each datum doesn't change the result at all so it seems pointless to have them both in there like this. Many of the call outs on this print use 'D' and "E', so I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly before completing the program. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Zach
[Za...]
Is there a way to make this work by making a perpendicular line or a projection from the hole in each direction?
[Ja...]
I think who ever drew that print skipped GD&T training.
