[Ke...]
I have a part with 16 of the same features, the problem is my Stp. file has only one feature. Is there a way to measure that feature and then copy it with a 22.5 offset 15 times?
[Mi...]
If your checking it in the same program then the pattern option would do the trick. I use it to check IDs as well as ODs.
[Ke...]
I see patterns in transfer format but cannot find where to offset it. If I am even looking in the correct place. OK Found it I was in the wrong place..
[Ia...]
You want to select pattern in the nominal definition of the feature.
[Ke...]
So how do I then use a feature created by these. There is a line in the feature I made and I want to create an angle but I can only pic the one original line.
[Ro...]
Another possible solution. If you have a partial cad model that maybe is a piece of a much larger assembly, or for whatever reason does not contain as many "things" as you need, you could first make a copy of your cad model, then load the copy in and use CAD>MODIFY CAD ENTITIES to delete everything but the thing you are trying to duplicate and use CAD<CAD FILE<SAVE to save that bit. Then you can load as many of the new things in as you need and just use the transform to put them where you need them. Pictured I deleted everything but the outer skin of a model i was working on, then saved it and re uploaded it into my program and spaced them into a 1 inch square. whole process took about 5 minutes.jhkjhkljhkl.JPG
[Ia...]
Please sign in to view this quote. There should be a plus sign by the feature in the drop down list. If you expand it, it will show all of them individually, and numbered with brackets around them.
