Anyone out there ever checked straightness on a id of a shotgun??? need a little help....The od is so out of round im having a hard time picking it up.... was going to tie 2 circles together and make a 3d line..... anyone have any suggestions ??

The 3d line should work, or If the form is way out, use a large ruby so it won't shank near the bulges.
Use a spiral strategy in a cylinder feature over the entire length (or as much as you can)
and check cylindricity.

Thank You....
I was thinking cylindricity but wasnt sure.....
