[By...]
Hi~ How to Alignment DRF Slot? ThanksDRF SLOT.jpg
[Ch...]
Well, my input is : I would use A for Spatial, and X origin. and measure 2 slot planes, and create symmetry B and use for Y axis and planar rotation . This seems to be missing a Z origin, although it's not needed for the position shown. ( you could use top or bottom of part, etc.)

[Ia...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Wouldn't you have to use A for the X and Y origin?
[Br...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Yes, Datum A constrains 4 degrees of freedom here. 2 degrees of rotation(this will be taken care of by your spacial rotation). and 2 degrees of translation(X AND Y origin). The only thing left for -B- is the planar rotation and Origin in Z. (B cannot actually constrain a degree of freedom in the Z direction though.) [Ch...]
Thanks Brett and everyone, yes using A for X & Y origin was my original thought as well. Makes sense.
