How do I report this callout

Does anyone know if some where in Calypso I can report this? They want my report. How do I demonstrate the call-out?
I understand the profile of a surface. To me that's not the problem. It's the .0004 / 1.000 that gets me. I suppose I can do flatness ref and keep all my hits within 1.00". I see what they want. There is a trough running around and there probably putting a gasket in. They want a tight seal.

Do they mean .0004" total surface profile per sq. inch?
I would they should have calculated sq area of the 2 surfaces and allowed one tolerance. I understand it's not exactly the same.
I would probably calculate the entire area and apply the .0004" * number of sq inches, etc.
I've never seen this tolerance on profile. I'm not sure Calypso can handle it per local area, etc.

Other than that, you can scan 1 sq. inch segments and apply the .0004", however that doesn't account for all possible sq in segments on the surfaces. Would definitely need software to calculate that.

That's what I was thinking. Scan 1" squares. But since it's 12" x 12" that's 48 squares.
What do you think about scanning both collecting them into a plane then checking each profile against that?
Or creating a theoretical and checking profile against it?

Management ended up calling the engineer. Answer was it never had any flatness call-out and they were getting them all potato chip. So some guy, this engineer said, " It wasn't me!", threw that call-out on the print. So the now are giving us .007" flatness instead. My boss also told him that I queried it here on the post and that the response was not good.
Now my next job will be to pry a waiver out of the engineer. Ugh.

Well that's unfortunate. The print now contradicts itself. There was already flatness of .0004/1.000. That's how you control flatness over interrupted surfaces.

edit: Maybe I misunderstood. Are you saying they got rid of the Profile tolerance and added a flatness?

Yes they got rid of the profile and changed it to flatness. But we may not get a new print. So the waiver will need to come into play.
