[Me...]
I am new to the Calypso software and have. I was wondering if there is a way to change the imported Cad view/lighting to eliminate the glare that is shown on the model when rotated normal to a surface. I've tried changing various color settings, such as the part color, from within the software and it helps a bit, but the glare is still very prominent and annoying. [Ma...]
Use CAD/ Settings/ Colors and you can change the color of the model, background, etc.. Mark
[No...]
No, there are no options to adjust the lighting. Try using darker colors for the part, this will also reduce the glare.
[Al...]
Unfortunately, there is no way the modify the transparency or brightness of the model, which would reduce the glare. Like Mark said, find a color that works better for your eyes.

If you want to set this as a default setting, at the left, click Save & Load and click Save as System Setting. If you don't see the edges on the model, at the bottom of the CAD window, click the icon to the left of the Render (Show Model with CAD Surfaces) icon. This toggles the boundary settings. I think this will help you see the details that are washed out from the "glare".
