[Me...]
I'm trying to install the 6.4.2003 patch but it keeps bouncing saying windows installer can't do it. Is this a license issue? I think they expired 2 months ago.patch error.PNG
[Me...]
O.K. so I went back to play and I can get 6.4.1603 to run but I cannot get 6.4.2002 or 2003 to run. Any body else?
[No...]
You didn't mention it, so I must ask: Did you install SP 6.4.20 before applying the patch? This is not a license issue. Valid licenses do not expire (the SMA may expire, but not the license) and are good for every service pack and patch within the same main revision (6.4 in this case)
[Me...]
Well, that was embarrassing. Thanks for showing me the forest Norbert.
[Me...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Excuse my ignorance as I am still new to the whole upgrade/update stuff. From your comment, am i correct that if my SMA is expired, I can update (patches, service packs) for my current version (2017) but I can not upgrade to the newest version (2018). [Th...]
Please sign in to view this quote. This is correct. If your SMA expired after you received a license for 2017, you will still be allowed to install all service packs and patches for 2017. You would still be able to install 2018 as well, but without a valid license you would not be able to run it.
[Cr...]
I am getting this same error while trying to download the latest patch for 6.6. I do not have any service packs installed since installing 2018. I don't see any either though?? β β
[Th...]
Please sign in to view this quote. There is a service pack for 2018, 6.6.12. You'll need that before you can install patch 1202.
[Cr...]
I thought perhaps that was the case but I can't seem to find one on the website?
[Th...]
That's odd, since it appears right where I expect it to be on the SDP site.

[Th...]
You'll need to scroll down within the dropdown menu, the service pack subcategory is below PTB certificates.
