[Ro...] Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 I'm not 100% sure what you mean by 'Extension', but i have a family of parts where i do a profile of a milled surface only using points. The reason for this method is the size of the part, for context the part will sit inside a diameter the size of a nickel We had very good luck using this method, known bad parts (setup or missload) scanned bad every time.point profile1.JPG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
