[Me...]
I really hate to beat a dead horse here but I'm partial to my Custom Report... I would like to make it a Save/Load Default if at all possible to have Multiple Printouts turned on with my Custom Report/Pi-Web/Default report saved file as my default when opening or starting a new program. My custom report is a Default Compressed Tolicon as well. Is this possible?
[Ch...]
I may have a solution. It doesn't make the setting default but it makes things way easier. Again, I apologize if you are already doing this.printout.pptx

[Me...]
I'm old school man, can't stand the Pi-Web reports. I like the simplicity of the Default Compressed Tolicon.
[Ro...]
I hate that Profile Min & Max are separate line items in default printouts. Min & max are big where i'm at. Does PiWeb give Profile & Min & Max all in 1 line? (Nominal, Actual, +tol, -tol, Min, Max, Histogram) I've heard that default's days are numbered...... i don't know if that's true, but i guess i need to learn something about the new ways. Its one of the things that "That other Program" does pretty much without effort. Additionally, is the True Position icon "Live" in Piweb? That's another thing that other program does without asking, the TP icon in the report will actually show the deviation with a point on the crosshair so you can see at a glance not only your total deviation, but direction as well without having to read thru nominals. Is PiWeb a class i need to take in Brighton?
[Lo...]
I would like to know more regarding PiWeb and how to use it as well. The problem we have here is certain people oppose it, but they don't know anything about it. We use a customized print out, all the form plots and print everything. We wear out printers multiple times each year. I want to start implementing PiWeb reports (plots) into some of the new jobs, but don't really have the time to play and figure it out. Does Zeiss have any videos or instructions regarding PiWeb? Getting approval to be off from work to take a class on something we don't currently use is a hard sale right now. Not to mention that everyone here is use to seeing things a certain way and may not like the new printouts however if I could sneak them in on some of the new stuff, the change will be subtle. [Ma...]
Lonnie Just go to Multiple Printouts in the Measurement Plan tab (below Clearance Plane). Open this up and activate Multiple Prinouts. So under Printout Features you should see PiWeb reporting. Now pull down the menu and select Custom Printout. This will add your custom printout to print as before. With this highlighted now go to the Settings and setup the Custom Printout. Click the print icon and .pdf if desired. Now back to Printout Features and highlight PiWeb reporting. Now in the settings change this to PlotProtocol under the Format menu. Click the print and pdf icons if needed. Click OK to exit NOTE: if you do not click the print icon here on both reports it will not print regardless of what you click on the Run screen Now in your plot feature in the characteristics list click the green icon, PiWeb Report Plot Preview. Setup your plot as desired. Now when you execute the program you should have the custom printout and the plots from PiWeb. Mark
