[Me...] Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 Hey all, this problem just started around an hour ago. Roughly every 7 minutes, my stoplight turns red and the status window tells me the "communication failed! Please reconnect interface". Normally I would think that this is a cable issue, but I find it very odd that it loses communication on a pattern. Has anyone ever had to deal with this? [Me...] Posted June 4, 2018 Author Share Posted June 4, 2018 Everything is in working order currently First thing I did was shut everything down, and turn it back on. Still had the problem. Next I let it sit over the weekend, powered off. Came in this morning, no problems at all. Makes me nervous that it'll happen again, but I'm just thankful its working. I'm thinking it is the network switch, but I don't know enough about the device. CMM is a Mitutoyo using TP20. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[Me...] Posted June 4, 2018 Author Share Posted June 4, 2018 Just in Calypso. It never happened while running a part (thankfully), but just while sitting idle. We don't use autorun.
