Hello everyone,
I am using CMM zeiss with software Calypso 5.8.
I got a part as in attach, but I do not know how to measure it by my CMM.
Would anyone please kindly help me with this matter.
Thank you guys in advance.

Technically, because you're datum reference frame is fully constrained, you could do surface profile one feature at a time. Your total surface profile result will be the worst result of the 4 features, 2 cylinders and 2 planes. You could mask the 4 results and use Max Result to report only the worst one.

Do you have curve?

There may be some arguments against it but, with that kind of tolerance, I wouldn't have a problem using curve, using U for spatial,a 3d-line between U and V for planar-rotation and Y origin, a symmetry between U and V for X origin and a bilateral tolerance on the curve characteristic.

In the industries I've worked in, Profile isn't used much and maybe for a lack of understanding, I believe the Profile result doesn't provide much info for manufacturing to adjust to without cad grapics.

I use points and scanning, it depends on the feature(s) and customer requirements.

Some customers only trust points. Hundreds and hundreds of points.
