[Ro...] Posted December 10, 2024 Share Posted December 10, 2024 (edited) This is what I was able to find. https://www.keyence.com/ss/products/measure-sys/gd-and-t/symbol-list/ Indication of tangent plane (ASME only) “T” stands for “tangent plane.” How angled a plane in contact with the surface is to the datum plane within the range of specified surface is indicated by parallelism. Unlike parallelism, this specifies the convex of the surface and not the concave. That makes sense now that I see in the drawing that there is a second plane surface perp to the plane surface in question. Looks like the two planes are combined in the callout.
