3D inspection of terrestrial laserscanner mesh data (problem with normals)

Hello,

currectly i am trying to do an inspection of a ship's hull with cyclone 3DR as well as Zeiss inspect software. The data is from an RTC from Leica. We mesh it and compare it to CAD data (also in Mesh state). The problem i am having, is that the mesh data from the RTC is sometime a bit hard to control all the normal directions. Usually there is 30% normals just off, and the shapes of the data is just to complex to hand correct everything. When i use 3DR it ignores the normal direction, and instantly produces an inspection on both sides.

Is Zeiss Inspect also capable of doing this? It would help a bunch, as i prefer the results using Zeiss inspect.

Regards, Lucas
