STEP IN/OUT?

Hi all,

Just wondering what exactly the STEP IN/OUT license is. Is it merely just an add-on to allow STEP files to be loaded into Calypso or does it have additional functionality?

Hello Donald,

 

You can technically output CAD files as STEP files using CAD>CAD File>Save option. The actual use of that is pretty niche, to say the absolutely least. CALYPSO isn't meant to be a useful CAD design software, but it does sometimes come in handy occasionally. That's what it's considered "IN/OUT". This only applies to the CAD you see in the CAD window though.
