[Br...]
Does anyone know where to find system requirements for any given version of Calypso. It seems to be completely absent from every manual I can find.

[Mi...]
That GREATLY depends on what you're doing with Calypso, I'm sorry to the Zeiss Admins but they overestimate what a lot of us need. Our programmer seats exceed the specs. I have a hex-core Zeon CPU, 32gb of Ram, and an Nvidia Quadro P2200. Our CMMs that have Curve and do some CAD Evaluation work have toned down versions of that. Or production CMMs that have Autorun( So no CAD display), no curve/freeform, just regular measurements. They have i5 CPUs with Intel onboard graphics, 16gb of ram, and big storage drives. They run just fine. We have found Calypso benefits huge from High clock speed CPUs, not so much high core counts. And FAST storage. Have your IT hook you up with a PC that has NVME storage and Calypso gets buttery smooth, especially when working with measured points.

[Ma...]
Hardware specs are available at ZEISS Portal - look into document release note. Zeiss are recommendind Xeons because of size of RAM. But regular i5 or i7 are having higher base clock, same or more performance cores. We are using FF and curves, yet we have 16GB RAM used about 30%-50%, no more than 6 cores used while evaluating. I have questions about ECC RAM - i believe you can use normal one. I would stick to recommended graphic card, but any nVidia GC should work - for SolidWorks they are recommending those GC too and yet i have no problems with RTX 3060. m.2 SSD or Intel optane will be helpfull, but that depends on budget. I find that Zeiss's recommended specs limit Calypso's potential for CAD integration and on-screen graphical presentation. Just my two cents, though.
