How to obtain a positive or negative distance in comparisson to a fixed center line in Z axis

Hello to everyone!

Is there a way to make the software display a distance positive or negative? I always get a positive distance even though I change the selection order... I would like to get the distance with a + or - according to a fixed center

Between Cylinder 1 and Cylinder 2,I have a Z height difference of 0.81 mm, but I have many cylinders... How could I know which one is upper or lower than C1 (being this my fixed reference). All my distances are positive, but I'm sure there are some that should be negative when comparing to Cylinder 1...

not sure how the distance was created, but would a nominal value (edit check -> against fixed value -> type in nominal value by hand) help you already?
