Measuring highest points on an uneven surface with O-Inspect

Hello, 

I'm looking for tips on how to measure the OD and ID of some diamond coated cutting tool. Calypso is filtering out highest points because they are the outliers but I would like to measure the diameter only using the highest points. Does anyone have tips on how I can approach this?

Try lowering the prefilter factor until all the highest points are included:

Thank you! I was able to get it to work by lowering the prefilter factor and then using the minimum circumscribed/ maximum inscribed evaluation method for the OD/ ID.
