[Ri...]
I couldn't find a write up, but I have something that I had put together years ago. The first step is to go to File – New. Next, we will load in the new CAD model by going to CAD – CAD File – Load. We will select our new model. Now, we will put our new CAD model in the same orientation and location as our original CAD model. Once the orientation and location are correct, we will export the CAD model by going to CAD – CAD File – Save. We will save it in the native ACIS format. We can close out of this measurement plan now, and return to our original measurement plan. Now we will remove the old CAD model by going to CAD – Modify CAD Entities – Edit Body. We will select the CAD model we want to remove and hit the Delete body button. (If you only have one CAD body, you can go to CAD - View - Delete) Next, we will load in the new CAD model by going to CAD – CAD File – Load. We will select our new model that is in the correct orientation. We can correct any surface segmentations by going to CAD – Modification – merge faces with same geometry. The final step is to go to CAD – CAD File – CAD model comparison. Hit the Comparison button. Select all of the features in the Features inside tolerance list and hit Apply. Features that have been associated will be in red, so you may need to select any remaining features that need to be associated and hit Apply again – this portion may need to be performed multiple times. Check to ensure that the correct features were associated. Do not forget to save or save-as your Measurement Plan. Here is a video of these steps. https://s6.gifyu.com/images/bpKjH.gif Edited April
