[Ri...]
Calypso 7.4.08 (27.02.2023) VAST XTR Gold I am unable to define the holder locations because the retract distance seems to be about 7 times greater than normal. I have never seen the retract after each point so high before. Typically, it appears to have been about 2mm, now it seems to be about 15mm (Visual guess). The software will probe the top (angled surface of the ZCR holder) and alarm out when it attempts the Y axis point. Please sign in to view this quote. Where is the setting for this? Right, and all of these CMM's are Zeiss installed software/hardware. 🤷♂️ This issue came about right after calibration was completed. I believe for some odd reason; the software was moving as if a Ø12mm Master Probe was in use instead of the just Referenced Ø8mm Master Probe. I truly appreciate that you're willing to post about the issues you encounter--all of them. No doubt, others encounter the same issues and will find the solutions here on the forums. And you're a hell of a programmer and metrologist. I learn a ton from you. Keep posting.
