[No...] Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Well, the original concept of Planner/Simulation was to enable offline programming and collision testing between CMM parts/styli and the workpiece. It was never meant as an accurate simulation of the physical CMM's mechanics. But yes, it's a bit embarrassing that the simulated CMM doesn't even KNOW its physical limits.
