Caliper vs X/Y/Z distance

There is a .004'' discrepancy from caliper x distance vs just x callout. Caliper is using base alignment from plane(plane is use for planer rotation and zero on x) to hole x distance callout. I'm assuming just x call out of hole is also using base alignment so why the discrepancy?

I have and they are evaluated at center. I found the .004'' difference.

X callout is center of base alignment to hole whereas caliper distance is center of plane B to hole.

Sorry, but you have a mistake there.

If you want to have same result you have to use that Base-Plane -B- as rotation in space or at least as planar rotation and as X origin.

Value on X,Y,Z is from origin of feature - for plane it's one of corner.
Using caliper distance and "Center" is from center of feature, so if that -B- plane is not perpendicular to plane -A- and -C- then there will be always something.

I almost wish they would just disable the output or make some warning (like the annoying one when you switch to a UPR pre-filter) when trying to tolerance an axis (X, Y, Z) from a 3d feature.
