Missing CMM head in simulation

Today when trying to run a measurement plan simulation I noticed that the CMM head is gone in the simulation. Has anyone seen this happen before?

We use the Vast XXT head and have had no issues like this in the past. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dylan,

I've never experienced this problem, but please take a look in the following folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO 7.6\config\equip\RDS_XXT\SSC 

You have to adjust it to your CMM Folder, but there should be all your .ssc files stored.

 

You can also just load your .ssc model again via Planner/Import SSC file and hit "refresh" in the following window when the message about the same name appears.

Have you already gone through the .ssc file import process under Planner > Import SSC and have a "check-mark" next to MasterProbe? If so and the head disappeared that is very odd as Marcel stated. Maybe a fresh import of that particular stylus system's .ssc file would resolve the issue?

If not I would consult CALYPSO Planner Simulation Set Up to begin the process.
