[Em...]
I have a DFQ file that contains two identical characteristics, which is not allowed in our data. How can I split-delete one row of characteristics in the DFQ file export? Edited July 31, 2025
[Ro...]
Hi Emiljan, please provide your .act for giving an answer to that point. Thank you.
[Em...]
Hi Roman, thanks for the quick reply if I understood correctly ".act" I add an explanation. GearPRo generates a dfq.file in which it write the two rows with same name (Mdk characteristics), but our Q-DAS database cannot proces them beacause the file contains two rows with the same name. I would like Generate the dfq.file whith only one row of the Mdk. or did you mean to send the qdf file? Thank you.
[Ro...]
I mean to send the ".act" file from the GEAR PRO software which is created after each measurement ... than I can take a look into that.

[Ri...]
What version of GearPro are you running? I'm wondering if you have a bug or something else. I ran your .act myself, and I only see one set of values for the MdK.
[Ro...]
Good morning, can you please also share your "qdasconv_involute.con" from the folder "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\GEAR PRO 7.x\QDAS\conv". If I export as dfd/dfx with the latest GEAR PRO 2025 (7.4) version I get only one characteristic "Dimension over 2 balls" as expected. Your GEAR PRO version is 2024 (7.2.0000), correct? [Em...]
good morning to you too yes, we are using 7.2 and I have modified "qdasconv_involute.con" a little, I am sending both. Thank you. qdasconv_involute.con qdasconv_involute_original.con
[Ro...]
Is it possible that you have in the subfolder "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\GEAR PRO 7.x\QDAS\conv\QDASCustom" a second .con? With your .con I get only one MdK value in the .dfq as you expect. In both versions 7.2 and 7.4 (I use the latest versions from the ZEISS Portal). Maybe you download the latest version and try again. I can´t find a software bug.
[Em...]
I installed GearPro 2025 and it works the same – two outputs for Mdk. I reached the function where I can partially modify or disable the output (picture), but this characteristic always results in a double output... I'm losing patience. [Ro...]
Have you checked if there is a .con in this folder? "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\GEAR PRO 7.x\QDAS\conv\QDASCustom"

[Ro...]
This looks as it should look. Please get in contact with your local support team that they get in touch with our development. I can´t give you any additional recommendation and have no more ideas why you get two Mdk values. The colleagues will ask you for the .act and the qdasconv_involute.con.
[Em...]
Hi our support team created the program, and we only run it. They don't have experience with Q-DAS export. Now, I created the program from begining using our Gear Pro 2025, and it no longer outputs two Mdk values :). However, I now have a different issue 🙂 The output has changed... there are no longer characteristic names, only symbols... and Q-DAS database again detects this as duplication. I would like to have the output with full characteristic names again — how can I do that?
[Ro...]
You have to modify the qdasconv_involute.con again. K2002 80 A C:type => .... C:id
[Em...]
Thank you, everything is working now. I had to write the "type" 🙂. However, I have another problem: 😅 I'm using a measuring strategy with a "twist" - three heights, and it generates the same name repeatedly. This causes an issue in the Q-DAS database, which flags the duplicate names and doesn't work properly. How can I fix this?
[Ro...]
Hi, sorry I can´t answer your phenomenon? I just tested the exports with "C:type" (green in the screenshot) and "C:id" (blue). In both cases the height of the twist measurement position is included in the DFD file. Something seems to be really strange in your qdasconv_involute.con. Maybe you use the orginial one which GEAR PRO provides with every installation?
