[Se...] Posted July 31 Share Posted July 31 HOW TO SPOT AND FIX FAKE PATCHES (NOT TRUE MATERIAL CONDITION) ON SOME AREAS IN SURFACE COMPARISON IN ZIESS INSPECT 2025. IF YOU SEE ATTACHED SNAPSHOT, YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE LOTS OF FAKE BLUE PATCHES WHICH ARE NOT TRUE. I TRIED CHANGING VALUES ON MAXIMUM ERROR BUT THATS NOT THE SOLUTION. [Be...] Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 Have you tried to disable the flag 'Collect local deviation peaks' (Expert parameters)? If this removes the "problems" and you have ensured that the sampling of the CAD is 'good' enough for detecting local deviation peaks stay with this setting. If you need to keep this setting ('Collect local deviation peaks') you can try to adjust the settings for the 'Max. opening angle' and the allowed 'Max deviation of normals'.
