[Co...]
Hi all, Every time I think I have this correct, I find something else wrong with it. I wanted to know if anyone has a guide or process they could share for creation of a system on an offline seat dongle so that probes don't disappear, styli don't add/remove/get replaced etc. I have a Zeiss Contura G2 with a Vast XXT TL3 Head. I can get through the machine setup fine, but then I always end up with issues or errors when I try to get everything working. Is this a correct process / order to do all of this in so that things don't go away? New machine tab, setup Contura G2, establish connection, import MasterProbe (ssc), Radius to 2.5mm, Qualify and Ref Sphere Position. Here is where I run into problems. Trying to figure out how I should be importing all of my other Stylus Systems. After my MasterProbe is done, do I go to Import SSC File and start bringing in all other systems? What about importing all the rotation angles? When to use .SSC, .PCF and .TXT files so that things don't get too messy. Thanks all!
[Ha...]
You will need to add other stylus systems as SSC files for the first time, and will need to add the angles if the stylus systems are qualified in passive mode. If the stylus systems were exported from the offline seat, you can import the stylus systems as PCF files. The RDS angles are stored in a txt file, so it would be a good idea to import that if you already have created the list. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=520919 https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=910456
[An...]
I believe this article should help with setting up a new stylu and articulation in Planar. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=910456 There are some other planar related articles too might be worth exploring.
