[Lu...] Posted Wednesday at 01:15 PM Share Posted Wednesday at 01:15 PM If a version of CALYPSO is not supported with your version of Windows, this does not necessarily mean it won't function. To be supported means the software has undergone rigorous testing with that OS, and any bugs or issues found can be addressed by ZEISS' Software Support team. To be unsupported means ZEISS cannot guarantee optimal performance on that OS, and if issues arise, the solution recommended will be to upgrade/downgrade to an appropriate OS for that CALYPSO version in order to further diagnose and provide support. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can use the Windows 11 update in your organization as momentum to justify the CapEx. It's a double win, because you improve IT security by upgrading Windows and you get access to a more powerful Calypso. [Ri...] Posted Thursday at 01:29 PM Share Posted Thursday at 01:29 PM (edited) It will function, sometimes you may get odd errors, and some dialog boxes will not show in its entirety when utilized. The worst dialog box is when you right click a feature to execute, if the feature is at the lowest portion of the screen (or near the lowest) the entire dialog box will not be visible. Using "F9" to execute a feature works in that case. This problem seems to come up using multiple monitors. I am running 2016, 2017 and 2022 in simulation on a laptop with Win11. Also running v2022 live on PC with Win11. These CMM's are single monitors and do not have the dialog box issue but do have random odd errors.
