[Lv...] Posted September 11 Share Posted September 11 When measuring the flexspline, its module is only 0.125 and it has 200 teeth. When testing the circular pitch with GEAR pro, it is necessary to measure all the teeth. We use a tapered pin for measurement. Since the radius of the pin is extremely small, the software automatically sets the speed to a very low level. However, the tapered pin is not as easy to break as a ball pin. Is it possible to increase the speed a bit? Or, when measuring the circular pitch, is it feasible to measure only a portion of the teeth to calculate the circular pitch? [Ro...] Posted September 12 Share Posted September 12 Hi, which speed do you mean? Pitch is measured in single flank probing. You mean the rotation positioning speed of the RT? To your second question, yes you can either define in the pitch measurement to do a scanning line, or you recall the pitch evaluation from the profile or helix measurement (in case you measure all teeth).
