[An...]
Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas on the most cost-effective way to convert a STEP file to a SAT file? I don't have a Calypso license to import a STEP file. I have now downloaded FreeCAD, but I am unable to convert a STEP file to a SAT file here. Are there any other options? Many thanks in advance. [Ro...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I have always converted them in Solid Works. I think about the only way is through a CAD program to open it then save it as a SAT file.

[Ch...]
You may receive an error message if you also have Calypso installed on your computer. You'll need to adjust the environment variables. You need to place (.\Spatialx64\code\bin;.\HOOPS;) at the beginning.

[Ri...]
Ah. I didn't open the Path variable and notice it at the end. Then I ran into the fun part of the variable string being too long. Hahaha.
[M1...]
As we are handling different type of CAD-formats and Calypso only support Acis (without paying a tons of money), we are in the process of evaluating the TransMagic software to be able to be more efficient.
