I want to flip my part in order to capture the TP

I want to flip my part in order to capture the TP on the bottom side what's the best way to do this and how can i re alight the part? Can this be done?

Short term answer - write a separate inspection plan for this characteristics.  Do not flip parts during inspection.

Long term answer - Take CALYPSO EXPERT course to learn the 3 methods for achieving this workflow and which are most reliable. (hint: it definitely isn't flipping the part during inspection)

You can capture common alignment features between the two orientations and measure whatever you need. Check out page 3-60 in the calypso CNC manual.

While there are disadvantages, you can totally flip and part mid run and get good data.  You can even use PCM to swap the CAD model to make it match the new flipped alignment. 

I attached some simple instructions.  But like many things, there is more than one way to skin this cat.
