Measuring planes that are at an angle.

Hey guys I’m pretty new to calypso and zeiss and self taught so far. But I’m working on a program and I want to measure the distance between these two planes. The planes are parallel to each other but at an angle from the setup. I figured a simple caliper distance would work but it doesn’t give the correct measurement. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'd go the Symmetry Plane route, but Martin hints at a cool "trick".

Create a secondary alignment.  Hit the "special" button.  Input the angle of your feature (obviously be mindful of axis and direction) and watch the trihedron align to your feature.  Presto- you can now use your caliper distance or any other evaluation.

Bonus points: When creating a pattern isn't desirable you can use this alignment combined with "keep position" to create multiple repeating features quickly.  Works for offsets in each axis too.

Play with it a bit.  You're gonna like this one!
