[Ke...] Posted October 17, 2025 Share Posted October 17, 2025 We have a Contura (ver. 2025 8.0)with an RDS-CAA Vast XXT head and an offline seat (ver. 2017 6.4) with it configured for the Contura. Is it possible to change the settings in the offline seat to use it for an O-Inspect 863? What settings would need to be changed? Thank you. [Ky...] Posted October 17, 2025 Share Posted October 17, 2025 I would probably make a separate machine tab for it (see https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=443400 if you are in North America). Largely, I would probably do a "ZEISS Fixed Mounting" XXT rather than an RDS XXT since an O-Inspect doesn't have the rotation ability of the RDS. You can also add the camera, but there are very limited things you can do in simulation with cameras. I'm also assuming you would have different names for the stylus systems and the styli, so you'd need a separate machine tab for that as well.
