[Ib...] Posted November 18, 2025 Share Posted November 18, 2025 Is there any way to make the creation of the Fitting Planes independent between stages? When I import a new stage, sometimes GOM cannot correctly identify the plane in the Actual Element, and the alignment fails. If I edit the Fitting Plane that fails, all the other stages fail as well. Is it possible to make the stages independent? I don't know about your parts and how much they can differ, but from what i know you should make local bestfit for that area and then select your plane, press TAB and select that this plane have to be calculated in this alignment.
