Freeform problem

I had something strange happen yesterday. I need to evaluate a surface profile.

The geometry involved is essentially a long 180°-cylinder segment transitioning

to a very long plane. So I decided to just measure this as two separate features

(cylinder and plane). When I opened a freeform surface feature to recall the points

into, it was already populated with entities?

Entities, like model features?

I have seen this before, never thought much about, I just delete the list and create the FF.

You can delete the entities and choose the correct ones if they are incorrect.

I believe there are times when Calypso does auto-populate the entities correctly for FFS, although I think it's default behavior is to not select any.

It's got something to do with the naming convention. For example, I name it FFS-36-1. A different surface illuminates. I open the FFS and pull in the 4 curves I want. Click ok and the Form (0.002") appears to be what I would expect to see and there are no cad entities (Surfaces Used) in the empty field on the left, as I would expect. However, when I click ok and re-open it. Now the form is no 0.018" and the field on the left is populated with several cad entities. If I re-name it the problem disappears. There is also a FFS-36-2, but that one has no issues at all.
