Mesh of objects (multiscan) cut away by polygonization

Hi all,

I was wondering if somebody could help me with the following problem:

I made a scan template in Zeiss where 10 items are placed in a fixture. Mesh quality is very good but when i polygonize the mesh data the software draws a small orange box around the CAD's and if the mesh doesn't properly fit in this box it cuts away the mesh. My question is if I can increase the box size of remove it so my mesh won't be cut away.

Hi Rens,

when this dialog is open, you can use selection tools (like 'through surface', 'inside cube') to edit the selection for the polygonization. This is saved when you press OK.

The orange polygonization cubes can also be changed in size by script like in the attached addon/app.

Good morning Nanno,

I seem to be having a similar issue where it seems the orange boundary box for the CAD is cutting out the majority of my mesh. Is the script the only way to fix this or is there a native setting within Optical 3D 2026 pro that can be changed?
