Different results from Autorun pallet vs. Calypso CNC

I'm currently dealing with a strange phenomenon when measuring a part on an Autorun pallet vs. normal Calypso CNC.

The pallet has 8 places and the part is a plastic sort of flat "stripe" with 10 identical bores in a row.

The base alignment is made from the plane of the stripe (spatial) and a 3D line between the first and last bore (circles). The origin is in the first bore. It may be worth mentioning in regard to the problem that the bores are measured as a 10-fold pattern.

What I'm experiencing are differing diameter results depending on whether I run the program from the Autorun pallet or as a Calypso CNC run. I've measured the same part on all 8 pallet places and I always get a different result for the very first diameter (which is also the first characteristic in the program) while all the other diameters stay the same. And what is even more strange, the result even differs between the pallet places!

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I'm using Calypso 2024 right now but I'm going to test if 2023 behaves in the same way.

It gets weirder and weirder. Today I submitted a support ticket and the support guy basically made me reestablish the pallet and base alignment and for now the results seem  to be more or less constant 😮

Ok, we did a lot more than just renew the alignments, but all extraneous stuff aside that's the essence of it. I have absolutely no idea why that should fix anything (see, I'm not a beginner in setting up alignments, I guess), but at the moment it looks like it did.

I have to run more tests tomorrow and contact the support guy again. If I find out anything new I'll report.
