Cylinder element acquisition

Good morning, how can I acquire the cylinder element using a double probe Y+; Y− as a single element, without colliding with the clamping fixture and without creating a 3D line?

Can you understand this? To increase safety, you can add some intermediate positions to the part.

's strategy should work well.

One other method is to create two cylinder or circle features, one for the Y- portion and the other for the Y+ portion.  Then, create a third cylinder and use the "recall feature points" option.  Choose the first two, measured cylinders or circles.

This method emphasizes distinction between probes and clearance planes.

Other strategies exist, as well.  Keep us posted on how this turns out for you.
