Hi,

Recently, we have had multiple issues with the electrical power supply.

After these problems, we are unable to start the drives on CMM

Patient: CMM Zeiss Duramax

On the control panel, the following message appears:

His anyone has this problem beofore?

Can I tak any actions on my own to try to start the drives?

O would like to add that I have already tried moving head manually along each axis, so this is not a issue related to the machine hitting a limit switch at the moment of power outage

If it's same pictograms as for our Accura, then machine needs to get home position ( that's REF ) / key is indicating turned key for slower speeds.
Exclamation mark would be indication of homing or not turned on drives.

Have you tried turning machine completely off for a minute? Also i am holding drive button for a few secs ( on remote you must, on machine you can )

I've been working on a CMM for a quite a few years and I never noticed that this pictogram refers  to this operation 😄 Thanks Martin 🙂

Yes, I tried restarting CMM several times and also held the drives button, but it didn't help.

We'll probably have to call service

Sounds stupid, but have you checked the emergency stop button?

Don't laugh!

Many years ago I had similar issues and was close to calling the service when finally I noticed the emergency stop was enabled. I had pressed it myself accidentally with my belly when leaning over the machine. 🤭

Ok, laugh. 🙄
