[Ni...]
When launching any of the programs installed on the machine—programs we have been using since the machine was put into operation—the loading time is extremely long. It takes almost two minutes before the software becomes responsive and any action can be performed. The programs are stored locally on the computer, and the system is not under load during startup; CPU usage does not exceed 10% while the programs are opening. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? [Jo...]
Are these big programs? Complex models? I see similar issues, but these are typically with bigger programs with over 100 features/characteristics. CAD model complexity can also impact load time i have noticed. Do you see the loading delay when opening simple programs?
[Ni...]
This behavior occurs across all programs — from the simplest programs with only two or three basic features and no CAD model involved, to highly complex programs that load full CAD models. In all cases, the loading time is approximately two minutes. programs with only two or three basic features and no CAD model involved, to highly complex programs that load full CAD models. [Ja...]
May be worth looking to see what you C:Drive storage capacity is at. I believe Zeiss recommends 10GB of free space and if it starts to get really full sometimes weird errors or lag could occur. We usually get a pop up warning if the drive is close to full and every few years our IT has to go in and fix a Window's indexing issue that frees up about 150GB. I attached an instructional we got from Zeiss with some more info if you find that your drive is full. [Sv...]
I've noticed that if saving measurement points is enabled and the parts program has been run frequently, this also delays the loading process. I also sometimes move the .zmp files into an archive.
[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I’ve checked, and we still have around 500 GB of free space. I’ve opened a ticket with Zeiss, so I’ll update you as soon as I hear back from them.
[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. That feature is already disabled on our side. When we open the folder where all the .zpm files should be located, there is only one file present.

[Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I’ve just updated to the latest version, 8.0.08, and now the loading time has improved from about two minutes to roughly one minute. The size of the program is shown in the attached image. [Ed...]
I had this type of problem with one of old versions. Try to delete files"model.fct" and "model.sab" Just cut them into another folder, you may be able to put them back if it doesn`t help. These files should not be so big!

[Ni...]
Hello everyone, We have identified that as soon as the IT network cable is disconnected, everything works normally. We still don’t know the exact root cause, but I hope our IT colleagues will be able to resolve the issue soon. In any case, the problem is not related to the machine or the software. Thank you all for your help and recommendations. Kind regards, Nikola
