Automatic Detection of Sharp Deviation from the Surface

Hello,

I have mesh/CAD comparison of a certain part. In this deviation analysis I can clearly see the deviating areas but what I am trying to do is to mark deviation where we have a sharp angle deviation from the surface. Does anyone know if this is possible? 

You can see in the image where we have this deviation but I don't know if this is sharp enough or not. Any tool that would give me that measure?

are you interested in the deviation of the normals of the actual surface to the nominal surface? This function might help in this case: Create Draft Angle Map

If you are interested in the defects, you can create a surface defect map and then create surface defects:

1. Create Surface Defect Map 

2. Create Surface Defect Element
