[Ro...] Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 Hi, RDS-CAA is not supported by the GEAR PRO software. You can use several stylus directions but each has to be a qualified stylus position and stylus number. Regarding gears up on our experience you´ll need max. 8 positions to measure gears with an standard amount of features for a typical gear evaluation. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[Ro...] Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 Chris, with XTR it is identical to RDS. You have to qualify the required stylus angle positions as individual stylus numbers of the stylus system. It is not planned to change that behaviour in a future version as most applications are solved by a rotary table system instead of fixed probe or articulating probes like VAST XTR or RDS with VAST XXT. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
