[Ma...]
Hi, i am now dealing with measurement for more parts on one scan. I was able to find definition of segments for more than one part, but due to size and nature of evaluated dimension i have to place parts like this Basic table definiton can be like number of parts on 360° segments. I can not use that. Now there is a box selection, but it's Z axis is given from 1st scan. Which can vary. I've tried to place ref. points on T holder of parts to obtain adapter ( plane/line/point ), but for correct box definition i have to correct angles of boxes and their origin - which can be defined only in initial alignment. I've tried to make an alignment from that adapter, but those boxes can not be adjusted automatically. My only option would be running a python script, which would either adjust those boxes, or make 3D selection of points in holder alignment and make stages. Do anyone have some tips for me how to solve this without that script? Thanks
[Be...]
Hi, if you have a scanbox then this multipart approach would be possible (via positioning the 'different' parts via the measuring setup ), in the manual scanning there is unfortunately no native support so far for such a data constellation and you would need to separate your common measuring data into separate point selections for the polygonization. [Ma...]
Please sign in to view this username. Hi Bernd - i've just tryied a sample program with a basic division of the table. I was pleased to see, that template knows all ref. points, so once i setup table, then it will work everytime regardeless of table rotation. So for my case i would only need to do first setup of selection, then it will be ready. Only problem which i didn't solved is residue of scanned table, which i can not remove before polygonization. One thing which i don't like is that when i do division, it will make N of parts, where only first part have a model and it seem like i have to make new or copy whole measurement elements for all parts. I would like to have it like stages, where is only one evaluation for all stages. But for that it would be better for me to have a python script, where i'll select specific box and remove part of selection. Unfortunately we don't have a ScanBox. [Be...]
Usually you can combine via 'Import project' a measured multipart project and an evaluation project (single project) even to create a stage project (if you only depend on the mesh, in combination with grayvalue feature, adapter or probe elements it is getting more complicated). May be you should contact your distributor to get more information on this topic. This is a beyond the topics which can be handled in the 'Forum'.
