Part identification (Zeiss Vast XXT)

Good day everyone,

An absolutely baffling thing happened yesterday evening, and I would really appreciate your help.

The part shown in the pictures simply fell out of the probe head. Under a microscope, it is clear that the part is not broken; it is completely intact. What makes this really strange is that the machine is still measuring perfectly. It calibrates without any issues, measures the reference standard values correctly, and the part doesn't visually seem to be missing from anywhere—yet I am still worried.

 

Could you please help me identify this part?
