Notepad++

not sure if this is the right place to post this question (Mods feel free to relocate)

I do a lot of offline programming and use notepad++ for ease of use and formatting

unfortunately, when doing the same with Calypso, I lose the colour coding

with other platforms, like Renishaw's Modus or similar, I found an .xml file that i could import into Notepad++ as user defined language

I had built up one myself years ago that was very close, but my pc died and i lost all my settings

I am sure one of you geniuses here has something that can share,

please and thank you 🙂

Are you looking for this? There is an option to load settings, but I doubt it can load .xml files but you can try.

There is a 'smalltalk' coding option, it's close but not exact. I did try to build a custom one awhile back, I think I uploaded something on the forums... when I find I'll share but it's not perfect.

  I hope you find it 🤞

"smalltalk" doesn't know any of the commands and mostly uses different colour scheme

well no luck finding it, I searched through my attachments, posts and the forums.

 I believe I shared an .xml on the old forums, it was pretty close - but that was before AI.

I think you could easily vibe code your own one with AI.

 I did post on Notepad ++ forums about this. The smalltalk syntax highlighting is like 17yrs old and has not been changed in a very long time.

yes good find Norbert ! I swore I attached an .xml, I'll search my files but I have a feeling it is gone, since migrating jobs, etc.

Ah, I see , couldn't upload the .xml - so I posted the code; give it a shot. If you get it figured out, feel free to share with everyone ! good luck !!
