[Re...]
Good afternoon, I made a scanning program that contains two different measuring set ups. I place reference stickers on the item itself. Manually I am able to transform the two measurement series by selecting at least 3 of these reference stickers which are detected in both scans. Real problem is that I am unable to run the project template in Zeiss kiosk. It runs both measurement series but it doesn't gives an option to select the reference stickers to transform them into one mesh and finish the inspection and create report. Is there a solution or a setting which allows this? Is there a solution where I can transform the measurements without using the reference stickers on the part itself so it automatically transform it? Kind regards, Rens
[Jo...]
Hi, you seem to do something wrong while creating the template for kiosk. I have only tried that once so far, so i leave the answer to that to more expierenced users. "Is there a solution where I can transform the measurements without using the reference stickers on the part itself so it automatically transform it? " You can use fixtures. Fixtures can be added so that the software "knows" them and can differentiate between fixture and part. There are also free 3D-print models available for most of this stuff, so it won`t brake the bank. Edited 4 hours ago
[Re...]
Hi, Thanks for your response. Specify why you think I am doing something wrong? You are able to automatically transform the measurement series based on the reference stickers on the fixture without manually selecting them? For the project template I do use a fixture beside it which is a pole with a lot of reference stickers. I didn't import it as a fixture, I know it is good to import it in the template as a fixture. [Jo...]
Hi Rens, "Specify why you think I am doing something wrong? " Because the measurements are not transformed🙂 Sorry not too helpful i know. We just have a scanport and no scanbox and so i cant help you with the specifics of creating templates with VRM. Maybe have a look in the tech guide. They also talk about fixtures and stuff here. https://techguide.zeiss.com/en/zeiss-inspect-2026/article/introduction_to_VMR_workflow.html https://techguide.zeiss.com/en/zeiss-inspect-2026/article/how_to_measure_top_and_bottom_surfaces_(VMR).html?serial=0 Edited 3 hours ago
