Characteristic Form Plots / Later Calypso Versions

For those that have "newer" versions of Calypso.

Do the toggle buttons on top right of basic form plot go away at some point and you are only left with the first one (PiWeb)? I have v6.6, and was helping a colleague with v7.4 (or later) and he alleges his form plotting option is only the PiWeb toggle button.

I don't have them anymore, but i am not totaly sure. You can still enable old protocols, so they may be visible once you enable it in program.

Yes, the compatibility setting that re-enables the old plots also shows or hides those buttons.

How do you re-enable them?

It's under Resources > Compatibility settings > For this measurement plan

Fourth from the bottom is "Show discontinued report templates". Enable that. Also verify that your colleague has the "ZEISS Basic Reporting" application installed (or "ZEISS Basic Reporting64" if they're using Calypso 2024 or newer). It's not part of the standard install anymore so it might not be on the PC.

Thanks. All of our stations are always running the latest and greatest. Doesn't look like the Basic Reporting64 is installed.

If you still have the installation pack, it's stored in the tools folder.
