This a marked up drawing so excuse the lack of exactness on the profile callout. I think I'm all set with the upper tier but not sure about the lower tier, especially with the unequal distribution. I actually have a copy of ASME Y14.5-2018 and it doesn't cover my specific situation either. I think the engineer that marked up the drawing might be taking some liberties with the interpretation of the standard. "Applications, Analysis, Gauging & Measurement" by James D Meadows) and i still barely understand it. [Ed...] Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago I am also trying to understand dynamic profile, but here are my thoughts: Based on the description of dynamic profile tolerance zone on page 244, I don't think it makes sense to have an unequal disposed tolerance zone.
