How to create individual alignments for each part in pallet?

Hello all,

Imagine there are the 5 exact same parts on a pallet with the exception of their heights. Does anyone know how I would be able to take an alignment for each one so that the machine will know where to go without any input? I understand there is the "LOS position" feature in autorun, but I am unsure how to set it up. Any help will be appreciated.

For this we ended up with storing part alignment in all positions ( storing with name "p1", "p2", ... ) and then linking those alignments with position of pallet.

Unfortunatelly this is the only way - you can not define pallete anything other than X and Y

Martin,

Thank you for the answer. Is there any way you can give me a detailed account on how you stored all your part alignments?

The parts we run are all over the place. One part may be super short, another bent to the right. What we're trying to achieve is a manual alignment on each part in the program before we switch to autorun (so that way the probe doesn't crash performing the base alignment on the next part). Is this still achievable?
