Does anyone know how I would be able to take an alignment for each one so that the machine will know where to go without any input? Is there any way you can give me a detailed account on how you stored all your part alignments? The parts we run are all over the place. One part may be super short, another bent to the right. What we're trying to achieve is a manual alignment on each part in the program before we switch to autorun (so that way the probe doesn't crash performing the base alignment on the next part). According to your drawing i would stick to regular pallet and used start alignment with long search distance to avoid collision. Or do such start alignment to catch those variations. The issue with the search distance is that the part may be leaning at a different angle for the next part. The probe will end up missing it entirely or run right into it because there's so much variation for every individual part. Will I have to do something similar with the start alignment? I have done it on start alignment, just add into it's name a position number or any identification and run that manually to store it's location.
