it looks like calypso 2027 is BROKEN,

I intended to wait until the first service pack at a minimum. I am still on 2024. I was contemplating upgrading to 2025, soon. I just had time to mess around with 2027, and thought I would at least look under the hood a little.

I used to curse PC-DMIS.  It was the worst software I had used to date ... then I started learning Calypso and boy was I in for a shock.  I deleted a probe the other day while it was still in the holder.  Don't do that btw.  It completely breaks calypso and you either have to get live tech support to fix the problem hidden deep behind a password or you have to uninstall and reinstall the software with all that implies.

I have found two other hideous bugs since then.

My rule is two service packs, but honestly sometimes software needs 4 or more before they get enough bugs out to be worth using.
