Avoid repetition of an element

Good morning, colleagues,

Where can I enable or disable the option to repeat the measurement of an item—for instance, in cases where it was processed too quickly or without the necessary force?

I would guess in features editor, but i never saw that option. I was only using a loop to remeasure feature on condition.

Do you mean the rescan function of an XXT? It's in the compatibility options, but I don't remember what it's called. You'll know it when you see it. I think you can only enable or disable for the whole measurement plan. In older plans its off by default (backwards compatibility), in new ones it's on.

If an XXT probe is being used, I sometimes adjust the speed. For instance, if I’m scanning a bore at 10 mm/s and the operation is repeated continuously, I’ll reduce the speed to 8 mm/s—that usually helps. I also once came across a solution on the forum where a circle is probed using four individual points; then, within the scanning measurement element, the actual X and Y positions are retrieved via a formula.

if you have too mutch air scanning warnings you should ajust the stylus on calibration and in program the force from standard to rubust
